By creating an account or using YourStoriesLive™ ("YSL,""we,""us," or "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These Terms apply to all users, including account holders, contributors, Administrators, and Beneficiaries.
Services may change or evolve over time.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
YSL offers multiple subscription tiers with different features and pricing. Plan details and pricing are available at https://www.yourstorieslive.com/pricing and may be updated periodically.
Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, per your selection). Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You authorize YSL to charge your payment method on file for the applicable renewal amount.
If a payment fails, YSL may attempt to re-charge your payment method. If payment cannot be collected, your account may be downgraded or suspended until payment is resolved.
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. Exceptions may be made at YSL's discretion for documented technical failures that prevented service use. Physical item storage fees are non-refundable once items are accepted.
You retain ownership of all content you upload or submit, including stories, media, messages, and item descriptions.
By uploading content, you grant YSL a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and deliver that content solely to provide the services you request.
YSL does not alter or share your content beyond your permissions.
YSL stores digital content you upload or import — including photos, videos, and media from connected social accounts — solely to provide the services you request. Content is stored on encrypted servers and is not used for any purpose beyond service delivery.
Your media is retained for as long as your account remains active or as needed to fulfill scheduled deliveries. Media imported from third-party platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, or Pinterest) is retained only as long as your connection to that platform remains authorized, or until you delete the content.
If you connect a social media account, you authorize YSL to access only the content you explicitly select. YSL does not retain your social platform login credentials. You may revoke access at any time through your YSL account Settings or directly through the third-party platform's own privacy controls.
YSL may allow you to connect third-party platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. By connecting a third-party account, you authorize YSL to access and import the content you select, subject to the permissions you grant.
Your use of connected platforms is subject to those platforms' own terms of service and privacy policies. YSL is not responsible for the availability, content, or policies of third-party platforms. YSL's use of data obtained from Meta platforms complies with Meta's Platform Terms. YSL's use of Pinterest data complies with Pinterest's Developer Policy.
YSL is not responsible for the accuracy or legality of contributed content.
Services may include gift cards, tickets, flowers, and digital media. Digital media may be purchased at the time of scheduling and stored for future release. Delivery dates and recipients are controlled by you. Partner availability may change over time. YSL is not responsible for third-party service failures.
You may submit physical items for future delivery. You agree that all item descriptions and dimensions must be accurate, items must be labeled exactly as instructed, and additional fees may apply if items exceed declared specifications. Upon receipt, items are cataloged and stored for future delivery.
YSL may confirm recipient willingness to receive a gift, perform annual check-ins, and reconfirm details prior to delivery. Recipients may refuse delivery at any time.
Shipping and storage costs are estimates. If future delivery costs exceed estimates by more than 10%, YSL may request additional payment from the Administrator, offer early delivery to the recipient, or return, destroy, or liquidate items if no resolution is reached.
Deliveries may be canceled at least 30 days prior to the scheduled delivery date. If a recipient refuses delivery, items may be returned, destroyed, or liquidated at YSL's discretion.
YSL reserves the right to refuse, destroy, or return prohibited items.
YSL respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the platform infringes your copyright, please contact us at info@yourstorieslive.com with a description of the claimed infringement, identification of the material, and your contact information.
You represent that you have the right to upload any content you submit, including content imported from third-party platforms. YSL reserves the right to remove content that appears to infringe third-party rights.
Where possible, YSL will provide notice before suspension. Upon termination, your content may be deleted and scheduled deliveries canceled or fulfilled early at YSL's discretion.
YSL is not responsible for damage, loss, or destruction of items; mis-shipment regardless of cause; delays caused by carriers or customs; or third-party service failures. No refunds are provided once physical items are accepted.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. YSL DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YSL'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES YOU PAID TO YSL IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. IN NO EVENT SHALL YSL BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of YSL will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Baltimore, Maryland. You waive any right to a jury trial or class action proceeding. Nothing herein prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
You may designate an Administrator and a Beneficiary to manage your account according to the permissions you set. YSL may require identity verification before granting access to such individuals.
You may delete your account at any time. Deletion permanently removes your content within 30 days, removes your contributions to other accounts, and may trigger early delivery options for scheduled items. Deletion is irreversible once confirmed.
In the event YSL ceases operations, users and recipients will be notified and stored items will be shipped early where possible. Items remain your property unless a payment default has occurred.
YSL may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or platform notice. Continued use of the service following notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any proceedings not subject to arbitration under Section 16 shall be brought in the courts of Baltimore, Maryland.
